You will be joining a collaborative and forward-thinking team committed to continuous improvement, technical excellence, and supporting its people to develop and thrive.

Your new role involves playing a key role in the design, implementation, and ongoing support of enterprise-level infrastructure solutions. Working as part of a team of subject-matter experts, you will focus on delivering robust, scalable, and secure server and storage platforms. As the Server and Solutions Engineer, you will take ownership of technical design work, including high-level and low-level design documentation, and manage the delivery life cycle from requirements gathering through to implementation and testing. You will provide third line support, contribute to strategic infrastructure decisions, and ensure solutions meet both current and future business needs.

You will work closely with stakeholders across the organisation, engaging in technical discussions, influencing best practice, and providing leadership on infrastructure projects. The role requires a proactive approach, strong problem-solving capability, and the confidence to operate within a fast-paced, project-driven environment.

What you will need to succeed: To be successful in this role, you will bring strong experience delivering infrastructure solutions within large enterprise environments, alongside deep technical knowledge across server and storage technologies. You will have proven expertise with Nutanix hyperconverged infrastructure, including design and implementation, alongside a strong understanding of HPE enterprise storage and server platforms. Experience with Veeam backup and replication is essential, as is a solid grounding in Microsoft Server technologies, including Active Directory and associated security features. A good understanding of core networking principles such as Fibre Channel and iSCSI is required. You will be comfortable working at both a technical and stakeholder level, demonstrating excellent communication skills and the ability to lead technical discussions and guide project teams. Additional experience with Linux, Microsoft SCOM, or server management tools would be advantageous, as would relevant certifications.

What you will get in return: In return, you will join an organisation that places real emphasis on employee development, offering structured training opportunities and the chance to work with modern technologies in a supportive environment. A salary of up to £55,000 (possibly some flexibility in this depending on your experience), flexible and hybrid working arrangements, and a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your wellbeing, lifestyle, and long-term career progression.
