Job Title: Purchase Ledger Clerk Job type: full-time, Temporary Location: Kent, United Kingdom Your new company: Join a dynamic and forward-thinking company based in Dartford, renowned for its innovative approach and commitment to excellence. Our client is a market leader in their industry, offering a supportive and collaborative work environment where your contributions are valued and recognised. Your new role: As a Temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will play a crucial role in the finance team, ensuring the smooth processing of invoices and payments. Your responsibilities will include, Matching purchase orders to invoices and posting to the accounting ledger. Assist in query resolutions including liaising with administrators/suppliers. Perform weekly automated invoice matching run. Assist in preparation of reports to local management team Ensure the finance inbox is monitored, and action is taken as required. Ensure all supplier/subcontractor reconciliations are completed on time. Update the monthly balance sheet reconciliations file as required. Provide any financial analysis as required. Assist in the internal/external audit where appropriate. Any other ad-hoc finance work as directed by the Management Accountant. What you’ll need to succeed: Able to work quickly and accurately and under own initiative. Proven track record of meeting tight monthly deadlines in a very busy environment A high level of understanding around financial processes. Excellent data analysis skills and intermediate excel skills are necessary. Ability to communicate financial information to a non-finance audience. Microsoft Navision/Dynamics experience would be an advantage but not essential.
