IT Support Manager - 6 Month FTC Salary - Up to £54,000 On-Site Requirement - Manchester Office
My Client is looking for an experienced IT Support Manager to lead the IT support function, reporting directly to the CTO.
The role will initially be on a 6-Month Fixed Term basis - with the potential to go Permanent.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll manage the support team, drive service excellence, oversee key technology suppliers, and provide third-line technical expertise across cloud, infrastructure, networking and security.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop a high-performing IT Support team.
Drive service delivery, SLAs, customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.
Manage vendors, contracts and technology partners.
Provide technical leadership across Microsoft 365, Azure, infrastructure, networking and security.
Own and maintain Cyber Essentials and support ISO 27001 compliance activities, ensuring IT controls, security processes and documentation meet business and regulatory requirements.
What We're Looking For
Proven experience leading IT Support, Service Desk or IT Operations teams.
Strong Microsoft 365, Azure and infrastructure expertise.
Experience with networking, cybersecurity, vendor management and IT operations.
Knowledge of Cyber Essentials, ISO 27001, and IT security controls.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills.
ITIL or relevant Microsoft/Cisco/Comp TIA certifications are desirable.
