Overview
Seeking a Third Party Resilience Analyst to assess, monitor and improve the resilience of supplier dependencies supporting Important Business Services and critical technology operations. The role will work within an established Operational Resilience framework, identifying risks across third parties, outsourced services and technology suppliers, and ensuring adequate resilience, recovery and assurance controls are in place.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess supplier resilience, third-party risk and outsourced service dependencies.
- Review supplier evidence, controls and assurance documentation to identify gaps in recovery, continuity, security and incident response capability.
- Support service dependency mapping, resilience assessments and scenario testing activities.
- Evaluate contractual resilience obligations, service levels and exit planning arrangements.
- Analyse the impact of supplier failure on Important Business Services and operational resilience outcomes.
- Work with Procurement, Risk, Legal, Service and Technology teams to drive remediation and resilience improvements.
- Produce governance reporting, risk assessments and actionable recommendations.
- Support Operational Resilience programmes, TOMs and governance frameworks.
Essential Experience
- Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM), Supplier Assurance or Vendor Management.
- Operational Resilience, Technology Risk or Business Continuity.
- Service dependency mapping and critical supplier assessments.
- Reviewing supplier controls, audit evidence and assurance documentation.
- Experience with outsourced services, managed service providers, cloud providers or critical ICT suppliers.
- Risk assessment, governance reporting, RAID and stakeholder management.
- Working within regulated or complex enterprise environments.
Desirable
- Important Business Services (IBS) and impact tolerances.
- DORA, FCA/PRA Operational Resilience, NIS2, ISO 22301 or ISO 27001.
- Supplier exit planning and third-party resilience testing.
- Cloud, Infrastructure or Managed Service provider environments.
