Hays are now looking for a ServiceNow Technical Consultant for one of our local clients:
- Up to £663 p/d Inside IR35
- Remote Working
- Must be currently SC Cleared
The ServiceNow Technical Consultant is responsible for designing, configuring, and developing solutions on the ServiceNow platform to support ITSM and wider enterprise workflows. The role works closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable, high‑quality technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and customise ServiceNow modules (forms, workflows, business rules, UI policies, scripts).
- Develop automation and integrations using APIs, Flow Designer, and scripting.
- Support implementation of ITSM processes such as Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and CMDB.
- Troubleshoot platform issues and provide technical guidance to users and administrators.
- Produce clear technical documentation, including solution designs and deployment guides.
- Ensure solutions follow best practice, governance, and platform architecture standards.
Skills & Experience
- Strong hands‑on experience with ServiceNow configuration and development.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer, and integration technologies.
- Understanding of ITIL processes and ITSM frameworks.
- Experience delivering enhancements or implementing new ServiceNow modules.
- Holds current SC Clearance.
