Your new company
You will be working for a known organisation who are looking for an Informatica Engineer who is actively SC Cleared. This role won't be able to accept anyone who doesn't hold active SC clearance. This is a 6-month rolling contract and paying £600 per day inside IR35. The role is fully remote working.
Your new role
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop and maintain ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter, IICS, or related Informatica technologies.
- Build and optimise data integration solutions across multiple source systems and data platforms.
- Support data migration, transformation and cleansing activities.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including data mappings and solution designs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring service stability and performance.
- Collaborate with architects, business analysts, developers and data teams to deliver project objectives.
- Perform code reviews and promote best practices in ETL development and data quality.
- Ensure solutions comply with security, governance and data management standards.
- Support testing activities, including system integration testing and user acceptance testing.
- Strong commercial experience with Informatica PowerCenter and/or Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).
- Proven experience designing and developing ETL and data integration solutions.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
- Experience with data migration, data warehousing and data quality processes.
- Understanding of data modelling principles and metadata management.
- Experience working within agile delivery environments.
- Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience within Central Government, Defence, Policing, Healthcare or wider Public Sector organisations.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with data governance frameworks and Master Data Management (MDM).
- Knowledge of Python, scripting or API integrations.
