We are seeking an experienced and proactive Business Change Manager to lead change management activities for a multi-year Practice Management System (PMS) replacement programme across the EMEAPAC region. This strategic initiative involves transitioning from SAP ECC to a cloud-hosted Aderant platform, impacting legal, finance, and operational teams across multiple jurisdictions. The role will be pivotal in ensuring successful adoption of new systems and processes, minimising disruption, and embedding sustainable change across the firm. You will work closely with regional COOs, finance teams, legal service teams, and global process owners to drive engagement, readiness, and transformation outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Change Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute a regionally tailored change management strategy aligned with programme milestones and business objectives. Lead readiness assessments and stakeholder impact analyses across EMEA and APAC offices.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with regional leaders, COOs, and legal service teams to foster buy-in and collaboration. Act as a trusted advisor and escalation point for regional change leads and office champions.
- Communications & Training: Design and deliver targeted communications and training plans to support awareness, understanding, and capability building. Coordinate with HR and L&D teams to ensure consistent messaging and delivery across jurisdictions.
- Change Delivery & Governance: Facilitate change forums, workshops, and feedback sessions to capture regional insights and validate design decisions. Monitor change progress, risks, and adoption metrics, reporting to the Programme Board and Business Design Authority.
- Post-Go-Live Support: Lead post-deployment engagement to resolve issues, gather feedback, and enhance user experience. Support continuous improvement and embed change into business-as-usual operations.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in leading change management for large-scale system implementations, ideally within legal or professional services.
- Strong understanding of PMS platforms (e.g. Aderant, Elite 3E) and their impact on finance and legal operations.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills across diverse cultures and geographies.
- Familiarity with organisational change frameworks (e.g. Prosci, Kotter) and project delivery methodologies.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment across complex matrix structures.
- Experience working in multi-timezone, cross-functional teams.
Desirable:
- Change management certification (e.g. Prosci, APMG).
- Experience supporting transformation programmes in law firms or regulated environments.
- Understanding of regional nuances across EMEAPAC, including legal operations and finance practices.
Contract Details:
- Rate: £750 per day (Inside IR35, via umbrella)
- Duration: Initial contract until 31 March 2027 (6-month roll)
- Location: Hybrid - 3 days per week in London office
