We are looking for an experienced Service Transition Manager to lead the successful introduction of new and changed IT services into operational support. You will ensure every stage of the service lifecycle is considered - from project approval through to deployment and early-life support.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage end-to-end service transition for multiple projects.
- Coordinate acceptance, testing, deployment, risk evaluation, and early life support activities.
- Translate and validate service requirements, ensuring deliverables meet operational quality standards.
- Work closely with project teams, service owners, support teams, change management, and engineering.
- Promote Agile working and IT service management best practices.
- Ensure alignment to security, application, and architecture standards, maintaining clear documentation and knowledge articles.
Skills & Experience
- IT service environment within a complex organisation.
- Strong background in service transition, change delivery (Waterfall & Agile), and ITIL processes.
- Ability to understand cloud, SaaS, and on-premise architecture.
- Experience designing support models and working with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Confident presenting to senior audiences and training teams on best practice.
- Structured thinker able to work in ambiguous environments and manage multiple stakeholders.
Desirable
- Degree in IT or related field.
