SALARY - 32,000 to 36,000 (Dependent on Experience)

Your new role

Hays Recruitment are working closely with an organisation in York to recruit an IT Support Analyst / IT Trainer. The role offers the successful candidate an opportunity to help the company with hands-on IT support & help colleagues with internal system issues and problems. The other element of the role will require the person to help new starters during the onboarding stage to learn their IT systems and software, delivering tailored training sessions on IT systems and internal processes. This role requires travel within North and East Yorkshire, so the successful candidate must have access to their own vehicle.

What you'll need to succeed

  • IT Support experience - 1st Line Level
  • Experience of delivering training and/or onboarding in a professional services environment
  • Strong understanding of business processes and a methodical approach to identifying gaps, inefficiencies or non-compliance with procedures.
  • Comfortable supporting users with questions related to "how to use" systems and processes - not just the technical aspects
  • Excellent interpersonal skills - friendly, approachable, and confident, engaging with users at all levels.
  • Experience supporting change initiatives or technology rollouts is desirable.
  • Good organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to the needs of different departments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify technical concepts easily - be able to explain technical systems to non-technical colleagues
  • A good level of competence in MS Office is essential.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to all our offices on a regular basis
