Your new company: An exciting opportunity has arisen with a well-performing and high-profile client based in the Bristol/Bath region. They have embarked upon a number of large and complex technology transformation initiatives and are seeking a seasoned, confident and reliable IT Infrastructure Manager to support their teams.

Your new role: As the Infrastructure Manager, you will work alongside the wider technology and transformation team to lead the delivery of digital infrastructure components end to end. You shall have a number of direct reports that will specialise in their own verticals and also liaise effectively with third-party suppliers, ensuring their delivery aligns with the business objectives.

You will:

  • Lead on the delivery of core infrastructure workstream to support wider objectives
  • Manage 3 to 5 direct reports ensuring adequate support as appropriate
  • Act as a point of escalation whilst nurturing a high-performing team
  • Be the primary point of contact for several 3rd party suppliers across digital infrastructure delivery
  • Develop detailed core infrastructure delivery plans
  • Work with the wider digital leadership team to align objectives and act as the primary contact to related activities
  • Ensure the digital infrastructure meets industry standards and adheres to overarching security protocols

What you'll need to succeed: Key Skills / Experience required:

  • Previous experience adopting a senior leadership role within digital infrastructure
  • Seasoned knowledge and experience across various digital components such as networking, Azure cloud and mobile device management
  • 3rd party relationship management
  • Experience of infrastructure delivery
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills

What you'll get in return: In return you'll receive a competitive package and benefits (circa 72kpa) depending on experience. You'll have the opportunity to work on a high profile programme of work and work in a flexible hybrid pattern, typically three days per week on site in Bath with parking. The role is offered on an 18 month fixed term contract but could extend.
