The purpose of this role is to lead the international record-to-report function end-to-end, liaising with teams based across multiple countries with the aim to improve and streamline processes.
Your new role includes:
- Leading global R2R operations, ensuring timely and accurate month end, quarter end and year end close, with full compliance to accounting standards.
- Maintaining general ledger integrity through strong balance sheet control, reconciliations, journals, accruals, prepayments and high quality documentation across regions.
- Overseeing statutory reporting, external audits and regulatory compliance in all jurisdictions, ensuring consistent application of policies and controls.
- Ensuring high quality financial data to support consolidation, management reporting and donor reporting requirements.
- Providing oversight of global taxation, statutory submissions and payroll processes, ensuring clear ownership and accountability.
- Driving global standardisation by developing unified R2R policies, controls, SOPs and close frameworks, while strengthening the internal control environment.
- Leading automation, workflow optimisation and digital improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency and audit readiness.
