Your New Role

We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer / HVR Solution Architect to support a major public sector cloud transformation programme. You will play a key role in designing and implementing a secure, scalable data integration solution, enabling the migration of legacy Oracle data warehouse feeds into Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Working across cloud architecture, data integration and security governance, you will be responsible for delivering HVR-based replication solutions, establishing secure OCI landing zones, and ensuring data is transferred reliably and compliantly within a highly regulated environment.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience with HVR data replication and ingestion technologies
  • Proven background designing solutions within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
  • Experience delivering data integration, landing zone and ingestion architectures
  • Strong understanding of cloud networking, security and encrypted data transfer
  • Experience producing High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs)
  • Knowledge of data storage, lifecycle management and capacity planning
  • Experience working within secure or highly regulated environments
  • Excellent stakeholder management and documentation skills

Desirable Experience

  • SC Clearance
  • MOD, Defence or Government project experience
  • Familiarity with security and governance processes including SbD, DEAB and MOD SOC
  • Oracle Database and OCI networking expertise
  • Experience supporting large-scale migration or transformation programmes
  • Knowledge of Oracle Data Integration services and AI Data Platform solutions
