A leading telecommunications organisation is currently seeking an experienced Planning & Performance PMO to join their Networks function. This role will sit within a high‑impact PMO environment, driving demand management, planning, portfolio performance, and data‑driven decision making across a large, complex organisation.

Job Details:

  • Start date: ASAP
  • Duration: until 30/11/2026
  • Rate: up to £511pd Inside IR35 via Umbrella
  • Location: London
  • Hybrid: 2-3 days in the office

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience within PMO, portfolio planning, or performance management roles in large, complex organisations, ideally in telecommunications environments.
  • Strong capability in demand management and prioritisation, ensuring initiatives are aligned to business objectives, funding and capacity.
  • Experience owning annual planning cycles, change control processes, and portfolio‑level governance frameworks.
  • Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to use data to drive insight, decision‑making and performance improvement.
  • Experience producing high‑quality portfolio reporting, dashboards and KPI frameworks for senior stakeholders.
  • Strong financial management capability, including tracking spend, forecasting, and ensuring alignment to funded activity.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, acting as a single point of contact across business units, influencing and aligning priorities.
  • Ability to identify inefficiencies, drive process improvement, and implement new ways of working across teams.
  • Strong communication skills, with confidence presenting insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
