I'm supporting a leading wealth management business with the appointment of a Business Enablement Manager to support their London region. This is a senior, commercially focused business management role, working closely with regional leadership, Investment Managers, Relationship Managers and operational teams to drive business performance, support strategic initiatives and ensure the region is operating effectively.
The role would suit someone who is highly personable, commercially sharp and confident, influencing senior stakeholders. You will need to be able to read the room, challenge where needed, and operate with credibility in a relationship-led wealth management environment. This is not a pure project management role. While there will be involvement in change, readiness and business improvement activity, the core focus is regional business performance, commercial enablement, stakeholder management and operational leadership.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partnering with regional and front-office leadership to support business performance and growth
- Monitoring key performance indicators across revenue, client acquisition, productivity and regional performance
- Supporting the delivery of strategic initiatives across the region
- Ensuring business readiness for new products, services, regulatory change, technology and operating model changes
- Acting as a key point of contact for regional operational issues, escalation and problem-solving
- Supporting annual business planning, budgets, forecasts and performance management
- Driving collaboration between leadership, client-facing teams and central functions
- Providing oversight across the regional change and initiative roadmap
- Helping ensure appropriate governance, resourcing and local implementation across the region
The successful candidate will likely bring:
- Experience in wealth management, private banking, investment management or a closely related financial services environment
- A strong commercial mindset and understanding of business performance
- Experience working closely with senior stakeholders, regional leaders, Investment Managers or Relationship Managers
- Strong influencing skills, with the confidence to challenge constructively
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust quickly
- Experience supporting business planning, performance reporting, operating model change or regional business management
- Strong judgement, resilience and the ability to manage competing priorities
- A proactive, hands-on approach and ability to operate at pace.
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who enjoys working close to the business, influencing senior stakeholders and playing a key role in the commercial success of a regional wealth management function. Please apply or get in touch for a confidential conversation.
