Your new company

I am working with a UK-based conservation charity working to create innovative solutions to environmental challenges. Their aim is to help to confront the global crisis facing nature. I am looking for a keen DevOps Engineer looking to work in a collaborative, close-knit team who enjoys transformation and always wants to push forwards in both knowledge and delivery.

Your new role

Joining the Digital Transformation Team, you will be helping to manage and evolve the infrastructure behind a portfolio of web applications. Very much a hands-on role, working with both cloud and on-prem environments. You will take ownership of reliable, secure production environments. You will support deployments through well-designed CI/CD pipelines and automation. You will ensure effective monitoring and be responsible for incident response. You will also manage databases, backups and disaster recovery processes, while collaborating with developers to continuously improve delivery, architecture and operational workflows.

What you'll need to succeed

The tech stack includes Linux, Ruby on Rails, WordPress, NuxtJS, PostgreSQL, running across Azure, AWS and Proxmox, with tooling around CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Ansible), containerisation and monitoring (Zabbix).
