I'm currently supporting an NHS organisation with an urgent requirement for an experienced Clinical Coding leader to join on an interim basis.
This role offers the opportunity to support a large and established Clinical Coding function, providing operational leadership while contributing to service improvement and digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Provide operational leadership across a Clinical Coding service.
Support coding performance, quality standards and productivity targets.
Work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure continuity of service.
Lead and support process improvement initiatives.
Contribute to the development and implementation of coding automation and digital transformation projects.
Support performance reporting, workforce planning and service development activities.
About You We're keen to speak with individuals who can demonstrate
Significant NHS Clinical Coding leadership experience.
Experience managing or leading Clinical Coding teams.
A strong understanding of coding operations, quality standards and performance management.
Experience delivering service improvement or transformation programmes.
Exposure to automation, digital innovation or technology-enabled change within healthcare would be advantageous.
