Your new role
We are seeking an experienced Interim Head of Solution Delivery to provide critical leadership support during a period of high demand. Initially, this role will cover a period of absence, support the return to work of the current incumbent, and add valuable capacity within a busy delivery function. This is a collaborative leadership role, working alongside the existing Head of Solution Delivery. The successful candidate will be comfortable operating in a shared leadership environment and able to integrate quickly into an established team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide senior leadership across the Solution Delivery function during a critical period
- Drive improvements in delivery performance across a diverse project portfolio
- Oversee enhancements and optimisation of ERP systems
- Lead initiatives focused on:
- Optimisation of existing platforms
- Automation of manual business processes
- Development of early-stage AI initiatives (within an evolving portfolio structure)
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure successful delivery outcomes
Key Requirements
- Proven experience operating at Head of Projects or Head of Solution Delivery level
- Demonstrated ability to hit the ground running in fast-paced environments
- Strong track record of improving delivery outcomes across complex portfolios
- Experience working with ERP systems and delivering system enhancements
- Exposure to SaaS solutions and working with smaller Tier 2 vendors
- Ability to work effectively in a shared leadership structure
Working Arrangements
Hybrid working - approximately 2 days per week in the office (Chorley, Warrington, or Birmingham, aligned with the wider team). Occasional travel required across the Midlands and North of England (Coventry to Durham).
