We are seeking a Packaging Associate to support the production of microbiological diagnostic products within a controlled clean room environment. This role sits within the Microbiology Division (MBD) and plays a key part in delivering solutions that support infectious disease diagnosis and bacterial contamination detection, contributing directly to public health and safety.
Pay Rate: £13.20/hr PAYE basic
Location: On-site Horsham - Langhurst wood Rd
Shift: Flexible 14:00-22:15
Duration: 3 months
Desired Start Date: 25/05/2026
Hrs/Wk: 37.50
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate on dispensing lines:
- Feed plates into production lines
- Inspect and check produced plates
- Load plates onto trays for drying
- Perform packing activities:
- Pack dried plates into foil pouches
- Box finished products into sales units
- Assemble, bag, and package accessory products as required
- Reconcile batch numbers and maintain production accuracy
- Manufacture ID seals and labels
- Maintain cleanliness in controlled clean and packing areas
- Follow all SOPs and GMP processes
Qualifications & Experience:
- Manufacturing/production/operations experience
- Laboratory or similar environment exposure
- Experience working in a cGMP environment
- Must be comfortable working in temperatures between 2°C and 8°C
- High School Diploma or equivalent
