We are seeking a Manufacturing Technician II to join a dynamic operations team responsible for receiving, packaging, and distributing high-quality products across ambient, cold-chain, and frozen environments. This role plays a key part in ensuring operational efficiency, compliance, and delivery excellence.
Location: Horsham - Langhurstwood Rd
Shift: Monday to Friday, 14:00 - 22:15
Job Type: Full-time (3-month contract)
Pay Rate: £13.20 per hour + 22% shift allowance
Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick and pack customer orders in line with business targets
- Receive and process deliveries, ensuring accurate inventory tracking
- Execute production orders, including equipment setup and clean-down
- Complete GMP documentation accurately and within required timelines
- Perform inventory checks, cycle counts, and waste disposal activities
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and compliance guidelines
- Maintain housekeeping standards and promote a safe working environment
- Adhere to cGMP, quality, and safety regulations (including PPE usage)
- Support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean principles
- Report any health, safety, or quality risks to line management
- Undertake additional duties as required
Required Skills & Experience:
- GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics
- Basic IT literacy
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and numeracy skills
