Job Overview: This role involves supporting client Projects Team by deploying and configuring end-user IT equipment, including laptops, desktops, monitors, and peripherals. The technician will also perform basic network troubleshooting, hardware upgrades, desk setups, and assist with office moves and MAC (Moves, Adds, and Changes) activities.
Location: Raynesway - DERBY DE21 7BE
Rate: An hourly rate, in-scope IR35, of £19.85 (PAYE) OR £25.75 (via a Hays Approved Umbrella Company).
Contract Length: up to 30 Jun 2027
Shift Pattern: Mon - Fri 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Install and configure end-user devices, including laptops, desktops, monitors, and peripherals.
- Carry out on-site hardware deployments, including desk setups, equipment replacements, and hardware upgrades.
- Perform basic network tasks, such as patching, connectivity checks, and troubleshooting network issues.
- Support office moves and MAC activities (Moves, Adds, and Changes).
- Ensure IT equipment is deployed and configured in accordance with project and business requirements.
