An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Therapeutic Specialist - Liver to join the Commercial Liver Team. This role focuses on driving performance across the liver portfolio, including a new product launch in Primary Biliary Cholangitis (PBC) and continued growth in Hepatitis D (HDV).
Location: Bristol (80% Remote Field Based)
Pay Rate: 425 per day umbrella rates
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve and exceed territory sales, market share, and performance targets
- Drive growth across the liver portfolio, including new and existing products
- Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, KOLs, and decision-makers
- Deliver tailored, omnichannel engagement based on customer needs
- Maintain deep knowledge of liver diseases (PBC, HDV) and product portfolio
- Clearly communicate clinical benefits, appropriate use, and differentiation
- Develop and execute a robust, insight-driven territory business plan
- Identify growth opportunities and address risks proactively
- Leverage data and insights to drive targeted actions
- Work closely with Medical, Marketing, and Market Access teams
- Align on account strategies to deliver coordinated outcomes
- Ensure all activities comply with ABPI and regulatory standards
- Maintain high-quality reporting, planning, and administrative standards
Skills & Experience:
- Proven hospital/specialist pharmaceutical sales experience
- Strong account management and territory planning expertise
- Demonstrated commercial mindset with ability to drive performance
- Ability to quickly adapt, execute, and deliver measurable outcomes
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
- High level of self-motivation and ownership
Preferred:
- Experience in liver disease or specialty care (desirable)
- Track record in launch environments (advantageous)
Qualifications:
- Degree (or equivalent) or relevant healthcare/nursing background
- ABPI qualified (essential)
