Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Software Test Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an office-based role offering the opportunity to develop your testing skills within a supportive and collaborative environment.
New Role
As a Software Test Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software products throughout the development life cycle. Working closely with developers, business analysts and senior QA professionals, you will create and execute test cases, identify defects, document issues and contribute to continuous improvement.
Responsibilities include:
- Reviewing user stories, requirements and acceptance criteria
- Designing and executing test scenarios and test cases
- Identifying, documenting and tracking software defects
- Recording test results and maintaining testing evidence
- Supporting Agile sprint delivery activities
- Collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Contributing to QA best practices and process improvements
What You'll Need to Succeed
- An understanding of software testing principles and quality assurance processes
- Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills
- Ability to interpret requirements and translate them into test scenarios
- Good communication and collaboration skills
