Your new company Due to impressive bid success & newly awarded contracts, one of Northern Ireland’s mid-tier construction contractors is now seeking construction Site Managers to join their expanding team. Having been established for over 40 years, the company has built an enviable portfolio of projects within the residential, commercial, hospitality, education & retail sectors, developing a strong client network and establishing a reputation for successfully delivering innovative & complex projects. They currently have a requirement for an accomplished Site Manager to join their established team, with the first project being a new build residential development in L’Derry. Your new role Due to company expansion coming from growth within the market, the company has a requirement for a Site Manager, responsible for managing the successful delivery of projects from commercial & retail schemes, to high-end private residential developments. You will be involved in projects such as the construction of commercial properties, new build private residential developments or new build social housing projects. As site no.1, you will be required to manage and co-ordinate demanding schedules, delivering projects within budget and to the highest standard. What you’ll need to succeed As a successful Site Manager, previous experience managing small-medium scale construction projects as Site No.1 is essential, with demonstrable knowledge of the construction & building sector. As Site Manager, you will be tasked with ensuring the programme of work is completed on time, within budget and to the highest possible standard. Strong communication skills will be key to driving and motivating the site team to the successful delivery of each individual project – success in managing projects for this contractor will act as a springboard for your career in a company that continues to expand and progress individuals within their specialist team.
