Your new company One of Northern Ireland\’s prominent M&E Contractors, with over 40 years of experience, is seeking a Senior Mechanical Estimator to join their commercial team in Belfast. Renowned for its excellence in MEP Services, the company consistently provides top-tier engineering solutions across various sectors, including Commercial, Energy, Education, Health, Hotel & Leisure, Residential, and Retail. Your new role As a valued member of the commercial team, this role involves preparing accurate and competitive tenders for high-value mechanical projects across a range of sectors. Key responsibilities include: Prepare detailed mechanical estimates Review technical drawings, specifications, and tender documents Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing Create comprehensive cost breakdowns including materials, labour, and plant Participate in bid reviews and client meetings Support project handovers to delivery teams Track tender progress and follow up for feedback Build relationships with customers to promote repeat business.
