Your new company HAYS Architecture & Design are delighted to be working in partnership with a highly regarded, design-led interior studio to appoint a Senior Interior Designer for their Belfast office. This organisation has built a strong reputation for delivering refined, high-quality interior environments across the residential sector, alongside select commercial projects. Your new role As a Senior Interior Designer, you will play a pivotal role within the studio, working closely with senior leadership while taking ownership of projects from initial concept through to completion. You will be responsible for developing and presenting design concepts, producing detailed design packages and ensuring the successful delivery of high-end residential interiors. This role will see you engaging directly with clients, consultants and suppliers, providing both creative and technical input across multiple projects. You will be expected to demonstrate a strong design eye, with the ability to translate client briefs into cohesive, elegant interior schemes that are both functional and aesthetically refined.
What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will be a highly experienced Interior Designer with a proven track record delivering residential projects, ideally within the high-end or private residential sector. You will possess strong design and technical capabilities, with proficiency in relevant design software and the ability to produce detailed drawing packages. Confidence in client-facing situations is essential, alongside excellent communication skills and a proactive, collaborative approach. A strong understanding of materials, finishes and spatial planning will be key, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
