Your new company is a leading independent Accountancy firm in Northern Ireland seeking to appoint Audit Seniors and Part-Qualified Accountants who are ready to take the next step in their career. Your new role

  • Audit Senior
    • Leading audit engagements - planning, executing and completing audits for a diverse portfolio of clients across public and private sectors.
    • Supervising junior staff - providing guidance, reviewing work, and ensuring compliance with audit methodology and professional standards.
    • Client relationship management - acting as a key point of contact during assignments, addressing queries and maintaining a strong professional rapport.
    • Preparing audit documentation - drafting audit files, working papers, risk assessments and completion reports.
    • Identifying control weaknesses - highlighting issues, recommending improvements and discussing findings with management.
    • Ensuring regulatory compliance - staying up to date with ISA standards, ethical requirements and firm policies.
    • Supporting wider advisory work - assisting with ad-hoc assignments such as due diligence, forensic reviews or financial analysis when required.
  • Part Qualified Accountant/ Accounts Technician
    • Preparing accounts - assisting with the preparation of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
    • Supporting audit fieldwork - completing testing, gathering evidence and contributing to audit files under supervision.
    • Bookkeeping & digital accounting - maintaining ledgers, processing transactions and working with cloud-based systems such as Xero or QuickBooks.
    • Tax compliance support - preparing VAT returns, assisting with corporation tax computations and supporting personal tax work.
    • Client communication - responding to routine queries, requesting information and ensuring smooth workflow.
    • Professional development - progressing through exams, attending internal training and building technical knowledge.
    • General practice support - contributing to a variety of assignments across audit, accounts and advisory as needed.
