Refrigeration Technician

We are seeking to recruit an experienced FM Technician (Refrigeration) to enhance our Facilities Management team and support the successful delivery of services across a portfolio of client locations throughout Northern Ireland.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, servicing and repairing refrigeration and HVAC systems, along with associated building services, across a range of client sites throughout Northern Ireland. Responsibilities include:

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs and minor remedial works.
• Servicing and maintaining refrigeration and HVAC systems in line with contract requirements.
• Diagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently to meet service level agreements.
• Liaising with the Helpdesk, clients and subcontractors to ensure works are completed effectively.
• Managing materials, tools and equipment required for maintenance activities.
• Overseeing specialist contractors where required and ensuring work is completed to agreed standards.
• Completing installations, minor alterations, surveys and condition reports as necessary.
• Maintaining accurate asset records, service documentation and compliance paperwork.
• Building positive working relationships with clients and colleagues while maintaining a professional approach at all times.
• Demonstrating a strong understanding of commercial refrigeration systems, including pack systems and controls.

What you'll need to succeed:

• Previous employment in a similar role.
• NVQ Level 2 & 3 Refrigeration / Air Conditioning.
• C&G 2079 F Gas Category 1 Certificate.
• Full Driving Licence.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office Products / Computer Aided Facilities Management Systems.
• Desirable: IPAF Trained.
