A leading international specialist in high-value projects is seeking an experienced QHSE Manager to join its team in Newry. Operating on a global scale and in commercial environments, the organisation is recognised for its innovation and delivery excellence. With continued growth and a strong pipeline of complex projects, the business is strengthening its QHSE capability to support operational performance and maintain high standards across all functions.
As QHSE Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving quality, health & safety, and environmental standards across the organisation. This is a hands-on, operationally focused position working closely with project, office, and site teams to ensure systems are robust, practical, and consistent. You will oversee the integrated management system, support ISO audits, and champion a proactive safety culture. The role also involves leading continuous improvement initiatives, supporting environmental compliance, and developing QHSE capability across the workforce.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
- Proven management experience in a QHSE role within manufacturing, engineering, construction, or similar sectors.
- Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 45001, with familiarity in ISO 14001.
- Experience supporting internal and external audits.
- A structured, methodical approach to systems and process improvement.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage at all levels.
- Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent).
