Your new company and role
A leading financial services organisation is seeking a Python Software Engineer to join their Glasgow-based engineering team on a 6-month contract (with potential for extension). This role is focused on enhancing observability and telemetry capabilities within a large-scale, strategic trade and risk platform. You'll be working on-site five days per week in a collaborative, engineering-led environment using a modern open-source stack.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience developing software in Python(essential)
- Exposure to Golang, Kafka, or Kubernetes (desirable)
- Familiarity with observability tools such as OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Splunk, or similar
