Your new role As Production Shift Manager, you will lead manufacturing operations on shift, ensuring the efficient use of manpower, machinery, materials, and methods to achieve the highest standards of safety, quality, productivity, and service. Working as part of the Production Management Team, you will be responsible for delivering operational targets, monitoring performance against KPIs, developing and motivating teams, and driving continuous improvement initiatives throughout the production environment. Key responsibilities will include: Leading and motivating production teams to achieve operational and departmental objectives. Monitoring production performance and analysing data to identify opportunities for improvement. Driving continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, productivity, and safety. Ensuring production schedules and customer delivery requirements are achieved. Managing resources effectively to maximise operational performance and minimise downtime. Supporting the development of employee capability through training, coaching, and multi-skilling initiatives. Maintaining excellent communication and engagement across production teams. Working closely with engineering and technical teams to support planned maintenance activities. Building strong cross-functional relationships to enhance overall operational performance.
