Your new company is a well-established and reputable manufacturing organisation based in Lisburn seeking a highly organised Production Scheduler to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in coordinating production planning and driving efficiency across a busy and fast-paced environment.
Your new role involves working closely with the Demand Manager and wider operational teams to plan, organise and control production schedules. You will ensure products are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards while maintaining an efficient balance between demand and responsibilities:
- Planning and managing production schedules for customer orders
- Gathering data on production times, material costs and resource requirements
- Producing quotations from drawings and specifications
- Managing customer orders and updating internal systems
- Monitoring and adjusting production schedules as required
- Coordinating with engineering, purchasing and production teams
- Determining labour, materials and machinery requirements
- Maintaining accurate production records and documentation
- Updating Bill of Materials (BOM) and manufacturing system data
- Producing reports to monitor KPIs and daily performance
- Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs
What you'll need to succeed:
- Previous experience in a production planning, scheduling or coordination role
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes
- Experience using MRP or manufacturing software
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
