With a strong emphasis on people development, internal progression and operational excellence, the business has built momentum through improved performance, enhanced standards and a stable, committed workforce. This is an organisation with a clear direction, a strong local reputation and an ambitious outlook for the future, making it an exciting time to join.

As Production Manager, you will take full responsibility for overseeing daily manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets are achieved while maintaining consistently high quality standards. You will lead, support and develop production teams, embedding a culture of safety, teamwork and accountability across the operation. A key part of the role will involve reviewing and improving processes, implementing quality control measures and driving efficiencies to reduce waste and optimise output. Working closely with cross functional teams, you will ensure production schedules are met and standards are maintained, while also introducing job rotation, delegation and structured staff development to strengthen resilience and performance across the site.

To succeed in this role, you will have proven experience in a production management position within a manufacturing environment, ideally with several years of hands on leadership experience. You will bring a strong understanding of quality control principles, continuous improvement and operational problem solving, alongside the ability to analyse processes and implement practical, effective change. You will be a confident people manager with excellent communication skills, capable of motivating teams and managing schedules in a fast paced environment. Mechanical awareness and confidence using production systems and computer software will be advantageous, along with a proactive, detail focused mindset.

In return, you will join a growing and financially secure employer offering long term career stability and the opportunity to make a tangible impact on production performance. The role offers competitive pay with enhanced overtime rates and Sunday premiums (occasional weekend work on a rota with time off in lieu). You will also benefit from a permanent, full time position, company pension scheme, life insurance and on site parking. Most importantly, this is an opportunity to step into a key leadership role within a business that is moving in a positive direction and values commitment, reliability and continuous improvement.
