We are working with a leading professional services firm to recruit a Private Client Tax Assistant Manager to join its growing Tax Advisory team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their advisory career, working with a varied portfolio including HNW and UHNW individuals, business and farm owners, non-resident individuals, globally mobile executives, partnerships, trusts and estates. The Role: Working closely with experienced tax specialists and senior members of the team, you will support the delivery of a broad range of private client tax advisory projects while building strong client relationships and developing your technical expertise. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure across multiple areas of tax, with no two projects being quite the same. You'll be encouraged to take ownership of your development, build your own professional network and become increasingly involved in business development and client relationships. Day to Day Includes: Supporting the delivery of tax advisory services to a varied portfolio of private clients. Acting as a key point of contact for clients and building strong, long-term relationships. Advising on a broad range of matters including Inheritance Tax and succession planning, Capital Gains Tax planning, trust structuring, residence and international tax. Supporting transaction-related tax advice and other complex advisory projects. Working closely with senior members of the team to identify additional advisory opportunities. Participating in client meetings and helping present complex tax advice in a clear and commercial way. Managing WIP and supporting proposals, fee discussions and new business opportunities. Supporting and training junior members of the team. Undertaking independent technical research across a broad range of tax matters. Working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider business to provide a joined-up service to clients. Attending networking events and developing your own professional network. Identifying opportunities to introduce clients to other specialist services. Skills
