Your new role
As Operational Planner, you will take full ownership of production control within either the assembly or manufacturing area, overseeing the complete production lifecycle from strategic planning through to value stream scheduling and MRP maintenance. You will ensure that demand is production ready, working closely with planners and operational teams to maintain accurate works orders, clean MRP inputs and strong communication across the supply flow. A key part of your role will involve monitoring progress to plan, supporting problem solving activities and ensuring customer delivery commitments are achieved. You will contribute to the development of PRR processes, maintain KPIs, support stock take activities and play an active role in daily operational reviews. This is a fast paced, hands on role with significant influence on operational performance and continuous improvement.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you will bring solid experience in production control or planning within a manufacturing environment and be confident working with MRP systems alongside strong Excel skills. You will be highly organised, able to manage competing priorities and comfortable working under pressure to meet deadlines. Strong problem-solving skills, an improvement mindset and the ability to build effective cross functional relationships will be essential. You will thrive in a setting where accuracy, communication and proactive issue resolution are key to supporting seamless operational performance.
