Your new company A leading and well-established civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Managing Quantity Surveyor to join its senior commercial team based in Omagh.

Your new role As Managing Quantity Surveyor, you will lead the commercial management of major civil engineering projects while overseeing and developing a team of Quantity Surveyors.

You will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered successfully from both a financial and contractual responsibilities will include: Leading the commercial function across multiple civil engineering and infrastructure projects.

Managing, mentoring and developing a commercial team.

Overseeing project budgets, forecasts, valuations and cost reporting.

Preparing and negotiating contracts, subcontracts and commercial agreements.

Managing variations, claims, compensation events and final accounts.

Identifying and mitigating commercial risks throughout project lifecycles.

Building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and project stakeholders.

Providing strategic commercial guidance to senior management.

What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will possess: A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline.

Significant experience within the civil engineering, infrastructure or utilities sector.

Previous experience in a Senior Quantity Surveyor or Managing Quantity Surveyor position.

Strong knowledge of NEC contracts and commercial management processes.

Proven leadership and team management capabilities.

Excellent negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.

Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage multiple projects.

Full UK driving licence.
