Your new company Hays Belfast are working with a leading Civil Engineering Contractor who are hiring a Civils Site Supervisor and operating on a major rail framework within Northern Ireland's transport. The company will offer competitive packages and have a strong pipeline of work, with a reputation for delivering high-quality projects safely and efficiently.

This organisation offers an excellent opportunity to join a well established team working on a long term framework that will require some night shifts so work can be carried out during shut down hours.

Your new role As Site Supervisor, you will oversee ongoing site operations, ensuring all works are delivered to the required quality standards and in full compliance with Health & Safety procedures. You will manage on site squads, coordinate activities, and maintain accurate records and reporting. The role will involve supervising civil based works within a live rail environment and will require regular night shift work as part of the project delivery programme.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • A strong civils background with experience supervising site work. No engineering degree required.
  • Ideally, a valid PTS certificate, though this is not essential.
  • Experience within the rail sector is highly desirable but not mandatory.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, maintain high standards of quality, and ensure safe working practices.
  • Strong communication, organisation, and reporting skills.
  • Willingness and ability to work night shifts as required.
  • Valid supervisory or management tickets to work in Northern Ireland.
