Your new role
As Senior Project Manager, you will lead the successful delivery of complex transport and infrastructure projects from concept through to completion. Working closely with clients, design teams, contractors and stakeholders, you will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest technical standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading multidisciplinary transport and infrastructure projects across their full lifecycle
- Managing project programmes, budgets, risks and resources
- Acting as the key point of contact between clients, design teams, contractors and other stakeholders
- Overseeing Design & Build project delivery and construction integration
- Managing change control, technical issues and project governance processes
- Supporting business development activities and identifying new opportunities
- Mentoring and developing junior team members
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
What you'll need to succeed
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or a related discipline
- Significant UK experience managing major infrastructure, transportation or engineering projects
- Strong knowledge of project delivery, procurement and construction processes
- Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders
- Excellent communication, leadership and commercial awareness
- Chartered status or working towards professional accreditation would be advantageous
- Proven ability to lead teams and influence senior stakeholders
