Your new company Hays are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established public sector organisation for a Temporary HR Administrator based in Belfast. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy HR team and gain valuable experience supporting a range of human resources and recruitment activities within a professional and collaborative environment. Your new role As HR Administrator, you will provide efficient administrative and clerical support across the HR function, ensuring systems, records and processes are maintained accurately and effectively. Working closely with the HR team and wider organisation, your duties will include: Providing general HR administration support across the department. Maintaining electronic and manual filing systems and employee records. Supporting recruitment campaigns, including liaising with hiring managers and agencies. Managing recruitment platforms and assisting with candidate administration. Assisting with onboarding and induction processes for new employees. Producing reports, correspondence, spreadsheets and presentations. Updating HR systems and ensuring records are maintained in line with organisational policies. Supporting training and development administration activities. Assisting with the collation and monitoring of HR-related information and reporting. What you'll need to succeed To be considered for this role, you will demonstrate: A minimum of 1 year's experience in an HR administration role within the public, private, voluntary or community sector. Experience administering HR processes and supporting recruitment activity. Strong IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. Experience using HR management systems and recruitment platforms. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines. An understanding of confidentiality, data protection and information security requirements. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. It would be advantageous if you are a student member of CIPD or currently working towards membership. What you'll get in return £15.83 per hour equivalent of £30,458 per annum. Initial contract of 6-9 months. Up to 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday (hours may vary and may not to be full-time every week). Hybrid working arrangement with attendance in the Belfast office a minimum of 3 days per week. 25 days annual leave plus 12 public holidays Immediate start available.
