Your new company, Contract Services, is rapidly growing. This is an excellent opportunity to work for an established company, and we are now looking to recruit electricians to cover clients throughout Northern Ireland. The role involves a variety of tasks, primarily carrying out inspection and testing of electrical installations, as well as planned maintenance of emergency lighting systems, small installation projects, and reactive & breakdown works. We are looking for electricians with a wide variety of experience, a can-do attitude, and a dedicated, methodical approach to their work, ensuring all duties are carried out in a safe manner.

Your new role:

  • This is a full-time and permanent opportunity, working on a mobile basis on sites across Northern Ireland.
  • Covering a portfolio of sites.
  • Perform thorough Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR) on electrical systems and equipment.
  • Inspect and test installations, circuits, and equipment for compliance with current regulations.
  • Document findings and prepare detailed reports for clients.
  • Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, colleagues, and management.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues effectively.
  • Ensure all work complies with industry regulations, standards, and health & safety protocols.
  • Keep testing equipment calibrated, maintained, and in good working order.
  • Respond to planned, reactive, and repair work orders given by the helpdesk team within the specified time.
  • Carry out all aspects of Electrical Maintenance tasks using your own initiative to fault-find, evaluate & repair.
  • Small project installation works.
  • Comply with health and safety policies.
  • Provide a good level of customer service to peers and contract holders.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Electrically qualified to C&G Level 3 in electrical installation and 18th Edition IEE Regs.
  • Experience in periodic inspection and testing of electrical installations as well as C&G 2391 or 2394 & 2395 qualifications.
  • Experience working within commercial environments, carrying out all areas of maintenance and minor remedial tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
  • UK Driving licence.
  • Ability to work independently and unsupervised.
  • CSR Card preferable.
  • Sparksafe LTP preferable.
