Your new firm are a well known and established accountancy practice based in Belfast City Centre. This is an exciting role to join a forward-thinking and progressive tax team, where employees and clients are at the forefront of the operation. The role is within the corporate tax space and applications are welcomed from newly qualified to 5 years post qualification who may want to pursue management. The local firm are well known across Northern Ireland, they have a good offering in Belfast, with a growing team of employees offering support across accounts & audit, tax compliance & planning/advisory, corporate finance, and other business services. Due to expansion in the corporate tax function they are now looking to bring in either an Assistant Tax Manager or Tax Senior.
In your new role you will form a key part of the corporate tax team in Belfast. The firm is headed up by a young partnership of tax professionals, who are really helping drive the firm forward. The corporate tax offering currently has a growing team. In your role you will be working at the heart of the corporate tax team, getting involved with a range of complex tax compliance as well as advising on a variety of advisory/planning opportunities. Clients are multi-sector with you dealing with a good mixture of organisations. This role comes with a real progression plan, with a solid career path from day one.
What you'll need to succeed: To be successful in this role you will need to come from a strong tax background, having previously worked on corporate tax compliance. You need to be ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified or currently working towards. In terms of client experience, ideally you will have worked with a variety of clients.
