Your new company Hays are recruiting on behalf of Northern Ireland Medical and Dental Training Agency (NIMDTA), which plays a key role in supporting professional education and training services across Northern Ireland.
Your new role As a Temporary Dental Administrator, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to a busy department, ensuring the smooth coordination of systems, processes and daily operations.
You will assist with preparing reports and documentation, organising meetings, taking minutes, maintaining databases and records, and supporting the planning of departmental activities and events.
You will liaise with internal colleagues and external stakeholders, providing a professional and efficient service while helping to ensure key objectives and deadlines are achieved.
The role requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage a varied workload in a fast-paced environment.
What you'll need to succeed To be considered for this opportunity, you will have: Five GCSEs (including English and Maths) at Grade C or above, or an equivalent qualification, alternatively a higher qualification or relevant administrative experience.
At least 18 months' experience working in an office-based administrative environment.
A minimum of one year's experience using Microsoft Office applications or similar systems.
Experience preparing correspondence, maintaining records or databases, and communicating effectively with a range of stakeholders.
Excellent written, verbal and electronic communication skills.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
The ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team environment.
Excellent IT and data management skills.
Strong relationship-building skills with colleagues, customers and external contacts.
