Your New Company
You will be joining a well-established and growing infrastructure contractor as Site Supervisor delivering essential water and wastewater projects across the Northern Ireland Water Framework. With a strong reputation in the utilities sector, the organisation plays a key role in delivering critical infrastructure through long-term business offers a secure pipeline of work across both capital delivery and maintenance schemes, along with a collaborative, safety-first culture where high standards and performance are paramount. This work will be carried out in the west of the province, although sites will be located around the country, and you must be prepared to travel throughout N.I.
Your New Role
As Site Supervisor, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of site operations across a programme of works in Northern Ireland. Working closely with the Project Manager, you will oversee site teams, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure all works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. You will play a key role in driving performance and ensuring compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Managing site operations across multiple projects
- Supervising direct labour and subcontractors
- Ensuring full compliance with HSEQ standards and CDM regulations
- Reviewing and implementing RAMS and conducting site inspections
- Monitoring progress and reporting on programme, cost, and performance
- Maintaining strong communication with clients and stakeholders
- Supporting project delivery across capital and maintenance schemes
- Keeping accurate site records and attending project meetings
What You'll Need to Succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience in a Site Supervisor role within water, utilities, civils or construction
- SMSTS, SSSTS, or Supervisor qualification
- First Aid at Work certification ideally
- Strong knowledge of health & safety practices and CDM regulations
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience within water or wastewater / MEICA projects
- HNC (or equivalent) in Engineering or Construction
- Relevant site certifications (CSCS, SHEA, Confined Space, etc.)
