Network Engineering Lead/Architect - Market Data, Banking, Cloud
Up to £850 per day (Inside IR35 - Umbrella)
London/Hybrid (3 days per week on-site)

My client is a leading international Banking organisation who urgently require Network Engineering Lead/Architect with proven Banking/Financial Services industry experience,

Market Data and ideally multi-Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) knowledge to join a major infrastructure consolidation programme.
Key Requirements:
- Demonstrable experience as a Network Engineering Lead/Network Architect
- Strong working knowledge of Hosting Architecture and Enterprise networking
- Experience of designing and supporting Hosting environments across Datacentres, Cloud, and Internet-facing platforms
- Previous working experience of AWS, Azure, GCP, and/or Oracle Cloud networking
- Strong understanding of BGP, multicast, low-latency networking and high-availability architectures
- Experience supporting Market Data platforms (Bloomberg/Reuters/Exchange Connectivity), Trading infrastructure, or Real Time data distribution environments
- Hands-on experience with network automation technologies such as Python, Ansible, Infrastructure as Code, or API-driven platforms
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence technical and business teams
- Flexible approach towards hybrid working
Nice to have:
- Experience with Microsoft 365 connectivity, SaaS integrations, and hybrid networking
- Experience delivering large-scale infrastructure consolidation, cloud migration, or data centre transformation programmes.
- Knowledge of Cisco networking environments and enterprise security platforms.
- Strong knowledge of network security architecture, segmentation, and Zero Trust principles
