Your new company is a leading organisation within the Irish and UK precast concrete sector seeking to appoint a 2D/3D CAD Technician to join their growing design team in the Newry/Monaghan area. Your new role involves playing a key role within the design function, supporting the delivery of customer and production drawings. You will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered accurately and on time.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing customer and production drawings using AutoCAD and Revit
- Collaborating with architects, engineers, and wider design team members
- Liaising with manufacturing coordinators to ensure accurate implementation of technical designs
- Supporting the Design Manager to meet project deadlines and deliverables
- Assisting with technical detailing and service arrangement drawings where required
- Attending and contributing to design team meetings
- Coordinating effectively with external professionals and stakeholders
What you'll need to succeed:
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD is essential
- Experience with Revit is desirable but not essential
- Proven experience preparing high-quality customer and working drawings
