The Manufacturing Operator II is responsible for supporting the production process by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instruction Documents, and blueprints/drawings related to assembly, materials handling, equipment operation, and finished goods packaging.

Location: Onsite - Basingstoke (Wade Road)

Employment Type: Full-time, 6-month contract

Hours: 40 hours/week

Overtime: Available

Shift Pattern: Weekly rotating shifts:

  • Week 1: Monday-Friday | 06:00-14:00
  • Week 2: Monday-Friday | 14:00-22:00

Pay Rate: £13.20 per hour (excluding 20% shift allowance)

Start Date: ASAP

Interview Process: 1 stage - Onsite interview (30 minutes)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow manufacturing SOPs and GMP requirements
  • Complete production floor documentation accurately (weights, dates, times, etc.)
  • Start, stop, and monitor conveyor systems
  • Assist with equipment validation
  • Read and interpret work orders; set up materials accurately on production lines
  • Inspect materials, products, and containers at each stage of the process
  • Fill, weigh, adjust, close, seal, label, and pack containers
  • Perform line clearance, including reconciliation and disposal of materials
  • Clean and sanitise work areas, equipment, and tools
  • Maintain housekeeping and quality standards in line with ISO/cGMP regulations
  • Use PPE correctly and comply with chemical hygiene and safety requirements

Previous experience in manufacturing or production environment (or relevant training)
