We are recruiting a Manufacturing Operator (Level 1) to join our growing manufacturing team. This role provides essential support to on-site manufacturing operations, ensuring daily production requirements. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals looking to develop a career in manufacturing within a regulated, fast-paced environment. Full training will be provided, and the role offers opportunities to build skills across multiple work areas, enabling flexibility during shift operations.

Location: Paisley - 102 Fountain Crescent, Inchinnan Business Park (On-site)

Daily Rate: £13.20 + 25% shift allowance (PAYE basic)

Contract Length: 6 Months

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support daily manufacturing activities to ensure production targets and schedule attainment are achieved
  • Manufacture cell culture media and reagents in line with approved procedures
  • Operate manufacturing equipment efficiently and safely
  • Follow GMP, quality, and safety standards at all times
  • Accurately complete production and quality documentation
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, including graded and non-graded environments
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and team-based problem-solving
  • Communicate effectively with team leaders, supervisors, and other departments regarding quality and service matters
  • Support a strong culture of customer focus, quality, and compliance

Key Requirements:

  • National 5 or higher in Standard Grade Maths and English
  • Relevant manufacturing or operational work experience is considered as a suitable alternative
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills across different work streams
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Positive attitude with a passion
