Your new role involves working within a large finance department, playing a key role in supporting monthly and annual accounting processes. This is a hands‑on position suited to someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, detail‑driven environment and is looking to develop a long‑term career in finance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collecting, organising and preparing financial information for use by the accounting team
  • Accurate electronic data entry using Microsoft Office applications
  • Managing high volumes of documentation, including scanning, filing and maintaining orderly records
  • Supporting the preparation of information for corporation tax analysis
  • Handling and distributing incoming and internal post for the department
  • Communicating with multiple business locations via telephone and email
  • Providing administrative support for capital expenditure processes
  • Assisting colleagues with a variety of wider finance and administrative tasks

What you will need to succeed:

  • A professional, well‑presented approach and willingness to work within a finance/accounting team
  • Ideally, strong practical knowledge of Microsoft Excel
