Your new company Hays Accountancy & Finance are delighted to be partnering with a valued client to recruit a commercially focused Management Accountant.
Your new role As Management Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting strategic decision-making, and driving continuous improvement across the finance responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts with detailed variance analysis
- Ownership of month-end processes, including balance sheet reconciliations
- Lead budgeting and forecasting for the Irish entity
- Provide insightful financial analysis to support commercial decisions
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to enhance reporting and visibility
- Ensure strong financial controls and compliance with group standards
- Support year-end audit and statutory reporting requirements
- Partner with operational teams to drive cost control and profitability
What you'll need to succeed:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or Qualified by Experience
- Proven experience in a management accounting role
- Strong systems knowledge, ideally including Sage and/or Navision (Business Central)
- Experience using Power BI for reporting and data analysis
- Excellent Excel and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong attention to detail
