You will work for a leading Derry-based software company that provides cloud-based solutions that help organisations reduce human risk. They have been in business for over 20 years and continuing to expand globally, the company delivers innovative online tools used by millions worldwide, with its Derry office remaining a key hub of growth.
Your new role
As Finance Manager, you will report to the Financial Controller and your responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of month end and ownership of all variance analysis truly understanding any movements in the cost base vs. of the costs budget covering Opex/Capex and People Costs
- Facilitating the fulfilment of payroll on a monthly basis, ongoing process improvement and central point of contact around sales commission
- Optimise NWC and cash through operating with agility when paying suppliers
- Ensure Treasury management, in conjunction with Controllership, to ensure timely payments of Opex/Capex and People Costs
- Ad Hoc support with the manager around FP&A and budgeting
- Development and mentor finance graduate, and add to the development of the overall finance team, while challenging the status quo and bringing in new fresh ideas and ways of doing things.
What you'll need to succeed
- 4+ years experience in industry (ideally with some progression during this period) and certificate accounting (CIMA / CA etc.)
- Large accounting background (i.e. Big 4 or similar)
- Experience with Private Equity ideally
- Exposure to an international or multicurrency group ideally
- Team player who’s eager to pursue a career in private equity and ambitious to go above and beyond in this pursuit.
- Willingness to continually take on more, operate in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with the only consistent being change.
What you'll get in return
You will work for an innovative, fast-growing company on a full-time permanent basis. You will work Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm and will be offered a competitive salary with a 10% bonus. Hybrid work is available - 3 days in the office and 2 at home.
