About the Role
As a Snagging / Finishing Operative, you'll be responsible for ensuring newly built properties are completed to the highest standard before handover to customers. You'll work closely with the finishing foreperson to identify, prioritise, and complete snagging tasks across a range of trades.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out snagging and finishing works across new build homes, ensuring all tasks meet company standards
- Complete minor repairs and touch-ups including carpentry, painting, masticing, plaster patching, and general finishing
- Inspect properties and identify defects or incomplete works
- Work efficiently to meet handover deadlines while maintaining exceptional quality
- Liaise with site management and customer care teams to ensure smooth and timely completion of all tasks
About You
- Proven experience in snagging, finishing, or multi-trade roles within the construction industry
- Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality work
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Good communication skills and a professional approach with colleagues and customers
- Full UK driving licence preferred
